Lantronix announces beta version of multi-dimensional IoT application development, deployment platform

Lantronix, provider of secure data access and management solutions for Internet of Things (IoT) and information technology (IT) assets, announced Monday availability of the beta release of MACH10, a multi-dimensional IoT application development and deployment platform that dramatically simplifies the process for OEMs to deliver web-scale IoT applications.

MACH10 allows OEMs to significantly reduce the amount of time spent in developing IoT applications through extensible ready-to-use management applications that can be deployed immediately and a suite of essential microservices that allow OEMs to jumpstart their IoT application development while preserving their existing IoT software investments.

MACH10 is ideal for OEMs who want to focus more of their product development efforts on their core competency and leveraging their business logic; jumpstart their application development efforts by leveraging a sophisticated set of microservices built on industry standard protocols; eliminate the frustration of working with IoT platforms that provide limited functionality or force them to write off their existing software investment; and deepen engagement with core stakeholders and deliver a better post deployment machine experience by leveraging the potential of the IoT.

Utilizing APIs built on industry-standard protocols, MACH10’s suite of essential microservices feature pre-tested software building blocks which enable OEMs to develop new web-scale applications faster and allow them to focus on their core business logic, and avoid building applications from scratch. MACH10’s extensible, ready-to- use applications deliver fully functional, robust management applications that can be deployed immediately out of the box for fast time to market.

MACH10 allows OEMs to deliver custom portals that are tailored to different stakeholders’ needs and multiple user hierarchies. This allows an OEM’s application to be used by their various partners and customers throughout the product life cycle. MACH10 offers OEMs the freedom to choose between on-premise and/or cloud-based hosted environments. In addition, MACH10 is pre-tested on Lantronix IoT embedded and external device gateways for the fastest time to market. The platform can also be used on an OEM’s existing connected devices.

“Following a successful preview and demonstration of MACH10 to early access customers during the March quarter, we’re pleased to announce the availability of the MACH10 beta,” said Jeff Benck, president and CEO of Lantronix. “This beta release marks another important milestone as we move towards general availability of MACH10 later this calendar year and accomplishing Lantronix’s mission to deliver easy-to-deploy solutions that enable companies to leverage the benefits of the Internet of Things.”
