NRF 2020: Posiflex launches new line of compact and modular kiosks and enterprise IoT platform for POS

Posiflex is set to unveil brand new solutions for Point of Sale, self service, and IoT for POS, along with some Windows and Android-based products at National Retail Federation’s Big Show 2020 later this week.

Posiflex will showcase a versatile self-service kiosk that encompasses what a modern kiosk should be. The Apex KK Series is a compact, modular kiosk designed to fulfill the most demanding retail requirements. The Apex can convert from a standing pedestal style to a handy countertop model. Its bright touch screen display can easily transform from landscape to portrait orientation.

The modular capability of the Apex makes it an ideal fit for multiple retail and hospitality applications. In addition, the Apex is available with a 19-inch standard screen or a 21.5-inch widescreen display, a choice of an Intel J1900, i3 or i5 processor, and multiple options for variable requirements.

Posiflex has designed and manufactured POS terminals and peripherals. Posiflex has since grown exponentially to provide not only full-service POS stations, but also versatile self-service kiosks, state-of-the-art mobile tablets, and scalable embedded PC solutions.

With adopters in the retail and hospitality industries, Posiflex offers POS hardware, and following its acquisition of KIOSK Information Systems and Portwell, Posiflex has become a global force in the kiosk and embedded PC industries.

Furthermore, Posiflex will be demonstrating its new IoT platform, Canopy – empowered by Posiflex. Partnering with Banyan Hills Technology, Posiflex presents this enterprise IoT-enabled Remote Monitoring Service that lets you centrally monitor, manage and control connected devices at scale. With Canopy, Posiflex terminals, kiosks, tablets and peripherals can immediately send any notifications to the portal if certain hardware, network or software issues arise.

“Retail and hospitality operators can remotely monitor the health of their devices, giving them instant access to critical data on its equipment, which in turn, allows them to respond to any issues immediately,” said Doyle Ledford, vice president of sales and marketing for Posiflex.

In addition to demonstrations of the Apex kiosk and Canopy Remote Monitoring Service, Posiflex will provide a glimpse of the new Windows and Android-based products, along with updates to its existing line of attractive, performance-driven terminals, tablets and kiosks.
