Litmus Automation joins with Kyra to enable smart city IoT solutions for government entities to derive business value from data

Litmus Automation, an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform provider, announced Wednesday partnership with Kyra Solutions, an information technology service provider to the public sector headquartered in Central Florida. Kyra Solutions will leverage the Loop Platform to enable governmental entities to derive business value from new or legacy data sources through smart city applications.

Currently, Litmus and Kyra Solutions are engaged on several projects with transportation agencies in the United States for IoT-based projects.

Litmus Automation provides an extensive PaaS for companies that are in a rush to embrace the disruptive Internet of Things technology and leverage it for real business challenges. Litmus Automation’s offerings, LoopEdge and Loop, work seamlessly together to allow companies to access and exploit data previously trapped within enterprise hardware, no matter where or when it was deployed. Working with original equipment manufacturers and other industrial companies, Litmus Automation brings a modern development approach, a responsive team, a nimble business model, and a proven IIoT solution to all their engagements.

Litmus simplifies the complexity of developing IoT systems and solutions with a secure and scalable middleware cloud platform called Loop. With Loop, companies can securely connect any type of hardware, device, sensor or machine to the Internet and integrate the data being collected to any third party software application or enterprise system including ERP, CRM, big data analytics, and dashboards in real-time. Loop also contains an extensive device management suite for deploying and monitoring IoT systems.

“Litmus Automation relies on Kyra Solutions, a proven technology leader in the public sector, to bring our advanced IoT platform and technology for smart city applications to their existing client base,” said Vatsal Shah, CEO/co-founder of Litmus Automation. “Kyra knows how to work with government clients, understands their unique mission, and has a proven track record, which will help our companies deliver immediate value to this key market.”

Current government infrastructure has rich sources of real-time device and batched transaction data. Litmus’ Loop and LoopEdge enable data collection, data manipulation and quick analytics with real-time visualization on top. Loop lets customers securely connect any type of hardware, device, sensor or machine to any third-party software application or enterprise system in real-time with a simple interface.

“We are excited to find Loop, a robust and easy-to-use IoT platform we can leverage to create solutions that will improve the effectiveness of government and ultimately the quality of life for our residents,” said Piyush Patel, CEO, Kyra Solutions. “With this partnership, we are able to penetrate the Connected Transportation and Smart City market with an easy-to-use, secure, and scalable solution.”

Last month, Litmus Automation partnered with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) by joining the HPE Technology Partner Program and achieving certification with Litmus LoopEdge gateway software and HPE Edgeline IoT Gateways. With the partnership, customers can now purchase an HPE Edgeline IoT Gateway and run Litmus LoopEdge immediately out of the box for a hardware and software combination that enables industrial IoT applications.

LoopEdge simplifies the complexity of creating IIoT solutions, providing connectivity through almost any industrial legacy protocol, management of many gateways at once, and access to a marketplace of applications that can be used on the data being aggregated within the gateway.  Deploying LoopEdge on HPE Edgeline IoT Gateways takes only minutes, and installation is as simple as either plugging in a USB when turning on the device for the first time, or interfacing via Litmus’ Loop device manager.
