D-Link, Eagle Eye Networks team to deliver cloud video management across D-Link’s IP surveillance cameras

D-Link announced on Thursday a partnership with Eagle Eye Networks, provider of cloud-based video surveillance solutions. Through this technology partnership, D-Link customers will be able to integrate Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera VMS for seamless, on-demand cloud-based security management and operations across D-Link IP Surveillance cameras.

D-Link integration with the Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera VMS provides value-added resellers (VARs), security integrators and end users with cloud management capabilities for encrypted recording, camera management, mobile viewing, alerts, and first responder real-time video access.

Additionally, security integrators and end users can deploy analytics on one or multiple D-Link cameras without installing software or buying larger servers. Integrators and end users will benefit from the convenience of cloud management including lower up-front costs, flexibility, scalability, remote management, and flexible on-premise cloud storage.

The Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera VMS offers D-Link integrators, resellers and customers a range of benefits inherent in the on-demand cloud-based security camera system, including storage flexibility with cloud storage, on-premise storage, or any mix; complete web interface with no plugins or software to install; compatible with Mac, PC, Chromebook, iPad, and Android; and free mobile applications that enable users to view live video, navigate and search historic video, turn cameras on and off, adjust camera settings, or email videos remotely.

The alliance also includes Eagle Eye complete privacy encryption with no open ports; central management tools which enable integrators and users to delegate access, give other people access, revoke access, and track who has done what from a web browser. It also delivers alerts, notifications and motion analysis using email or SMS alerts for camera tampering or motion; and offers an interactive security camera mapping to view or record video directly from a physical layout.

The deal also gives users Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera control; mobile app controls PTZ cameras with tapping and swiping in mobile apps and mouse clicks control camera through a web browser. Its first responder real-time video access offers pre-designate first responders who can receive immediate real-time security camera access during emergency situations.

“The Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera VMS provides businesses with a seamless cloud-based management solution,” said CJ Woodling, product line manager, D-Link Systems. “We are delighted to partner with Eagle Eye Networks to enable D-Link customers to easily deploy cloud-based surveillance video systems across a range of video monitoring applications.”

“We are excited to partner with D-Link to offer Eagle Eye Networks’ advanced cloud-based video solutions to its extensive range of IP surveillance cameras,” said Dean Drako, CEO of Eagle Eye Networks. “It’s apparent that cloud is the future, and with this partnership, D-Link is able to offer its customers a robust, easy-to-install and manage true cloud-based surveillance system.”
