Dusun Electron announced Wednesday at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas to demonstrate its new Smart Gateway 2.0 product supporting ZigBee 3.0 and 3G/4G network for Internet of things (IoT).
ZigBee 3.0 is a single unified protocol smart home solution with interoperability among smart home devices. With 3G/4G network and built-in lithium battery support, this Smart Gateway 2.0 can keep data safe and secure without interruption due to disconnected power and local network.
In this Smart Gateway 2.0 introduction, Dusun is collaborating with its technology partner Qorvo (formerly Greenpeak Technologies) and is uniquely positioned with a ZigBee 3.0 certification product for its new Smart Gateway 2.0 platform. Qorvo is a market leader in the ZigBee market segment offering wireless semiconductor solutions and is enabling OEM partner relationships to lead and develop innovative and advanced Smart Home solutions, as recognized in Dusun’s CES 2017 Smart Gateway product introduction.

According to the IDC, the IoT market will grow to $1.7 trillion by 2020, and 2016 Broadband World Forum recently reported consumers will be spending nearly $130 billion annually on smart home offerings.
