CellAntenna joins Ericsson Industry Connect partner program as system integration partners

CellAntenna announced that it has undergone training and testing for RF planning and Installation of Ericsson Industry Connect, a private cellular solution that supports OnGo (Citizens Broadband Radio Service – CBRS), and is now a member of the Industry Connect partner program.

CellAntenna and Ericsson have partnered to combine technology of the Ericsson Industry Connect system (leveraging the DOT technology) with the services and support of CellAntenna to deliver solutions for the next generation for Industry 4.0 applications.CellAntenna can now deliver end to end design, integration, and support services for the new Ericsson Industry Connect private cellular network.

Headquartered in Coral Springs, Florida, with support offices in Hayward, California, is a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), delivering public safety and cellular in building signal solutions using Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).

At the heart of the technology is Ericsson Industry Connect, a private cellular network designed for the industrial environment, provides fast, secure wireless capability that readies operations for the promised benefits Industry 4.0. Ericsson Industry Connect enables communication service providers to offer private cellular networks at factories and warehouses starting with 4G/LTE, with a clear path to 5G delivering on the key technical requirements for next generation communications.

The Ericsson Industry Connect Partner program is a vehicle for solution providers who offer their technologies as a part of Industry 4.0 ecosystem. This program sets the standard for recognizing a partner’s investment in the tools and processes necessary to provide high return on investment for industrial customers using cellular connectivity as the foundation for their Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Purpose-built for industrial environments, Ericsson Industry Connect is a dedicated wireless cellular network that provides secure, reliable coverage, high device density, and predictable latency. Leveraging this connectivity solution, enterprises can gain full visibility of machines, processes and data, using 4G/LTE now with a clear path to 5G.

“Adopting cellular connectivity solutions based on Ericsson Industry Connect allows CellAntenna to offer industrial customers a solution that increases productivity,” said Howard Melamed. “By becoming a member of the Ericsson Industry Connect partner program, CellAntenna is ready to play a pivotal role in improving business outcomes for customers.”

“With this new 5G ready CBRS Private LTE technology , we believe that we will be able to provide an unprecedented level of security, reliability and speed aimed at unifying IoT and communication devices on premise,” stated Howard Melamed, President of CellAntenna Corporation. “Our engineers can assist in the design and installation of the system as well as the connectivity to the customer equipment – providing last mile to millimeter connectivity.“

“Ericsson is working with system integrators like CellAntenna to nurture the ecosystem and ensure seamless and secure Industry 4.0 deployments,” said Erik Josefsson, head of advanced industries at Ericsson. “We are pleased to see the growth of consultative practices that focus on the connectivity that underpins digitalization for Industry 4.0.”

Participation in the Ericsson Industry Connect partner program indicates that CellAntenna has undergone training and testing for RF planning and Installation of Industry Connect.
