Alpha Nodus offers Gravity IoT platform to lighting, HVAC sectors to redefine energy efficiency indoors

Alpha Nodus, a technology innovation company, announced Thursday its new software and hardware IoT platform for the enterprise lighting and climate control industry. Called Gravity, it promises to be a highly secure, all-inclusive platform that combines machine learning and predictive analysis to deliver energy savings solutions with lower deployment costs.

Another big concern in IoT development is security; a breach on one device can compromise the entire network. For the lighting industry, this leads to lower deployment costs and new revenue streams from Gravity location services. For the climate control industry, products can maximize energy savings without sacrificing comfort.

Gravity is an end-to-end hardware/software solution that provides interoperable connectivity for simplified on-boarding and provisioning of devices. Industry fragmentation, lack of interoperability, steep pricing and overabundance of connectivity protocols are some of the pressing problems that has delayed the mass adoption of IoT products.

With free basic cloud connectivity, Gravity is the solution IoT needs to lowers deployment and maintenance costs, and enable new revenue streams in an array of industries.

Gravity is a fully scalable, cost-wise solution that is set to open a world of possibilities for device makers, developers and entrepreneurs alike.

With free basic cloud connectivity, Gravity is the solution IoT needs to lower deployment and maintenance costs, and enable new revenue streams across industries.

“The IoT industry in general is very fragmented, with 20+ wireless radios, protocols and standards to choose from and no emphasis in interoperability. Gravity is here to solve that,” stated Shamit Patel, Alpha Nodus founder and CEO.

“IT Admins are reluctant to have any IoT devices be connected to their corporate network, and they should be. Gravity allows the lighting and climate control industry to build connected devices that can be deployed without needing a host network, using proprietary ultra-low power mesh,” Patel added.

In addition, unlike any other IoT platform, Gravity includes free cloud connectivity. This allows for real-time secure two-way communications, OTA firmware updates, and intelligent system updates at no extra charge. “Other IoT platforms are expensive, driving up costs for both the solutions and charge on per device per month/year model,” said Patel.

Alpha Nodus is currently looking for beta partners to help develop lighting/HVAC products on this new platform. “Gravity is now available. Request access today to qualify to receive free development kits,” Patel stated.

The platform eliminates the need for separate lighting control systems, integrating control, monitoring and reporting within its modules. Its ultra-low power mesh allows the deployment of lights and sensors in places with limited or restricted connectivity, granting full coverage in virtually every case.

Gravity’s location service enables real-time asset tracking for new streams of revenue, and reactive engine enables automation and scheduling for additional energy savings. Furthermore, its predictive engine facilitates futuristic AI use cases, fueled by streams of previously collected data.

Gravity for climate control systems is indispensable to a smart home or building. Through its ultra-low-power mesh, reactive and predictive engines; Gravity improves air distribution system, enables automatic setback thermostats, zone control, monitoring and automatic, and selective conditioning, decreasing energy wastage in unoccupied areas. It’s the ultimate platform to maximize energy savings while maintaining the highest levels of comfort.
